Street Fighter vs Tekken Collectors Edition and More Leaked Characters

The collectors edition has been spotted and some of the contents that will be included and there has also been some further character leaks for the game. Soon the whole roster for the game will be known, interested in who it was this time? Read on for more.

Street Fighter X Tekken is an upcoming cross-over fighting title developed and published by Capcom. The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con and will be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, and Playstation Vita. According to Capcom, the gameplay will be very similar to that of the Street Fighter series, but will feature a mix of Street Fighter and Tekken characters. The gameplay will also take place on a 2D axis like the Street Fighter series opposed to a 3D environment like the Tekken series. A supposed DLC list for the game has already been leaked and if proven to be true, shows that Capcom will once again be producing a lot of additional paid content for the game.

Namco is developing their own fighter titled Tekken X Street Fighter that will feature a mixture of Tekken and Street Fighter characters with Tekken-style gameplay. Not much is known about Tekken X Street Fighter and a release date has yet to be announced. If it’s anything like the release of Street Fighter X Tekken, we can expect lots of leaks before the official release of the game.  

The leaked characters this time around are Akume, Jin and Ogre and at this rate we will know the full roster before game release. These are thankfully characters that all fans of the games would wish to be in the game and will be glad to see them.

The details of the collectors edition are for the Asian version and we can only hope that the Western version remains the same (including the bobble heads). Here is the list of contents for the PlayStation 3 Special Edition

Street Fighter X Tekken is currently set for release on March 6 in North America.
